Samsung India Senior VP, Asim Warsi during the event said,
With more than 500 million feature phone users, India has immense potential for smartphone upgrade. As the market leader, we at Samsung consider it our priority to facilitate this journey towards smartphones. Our affordable Tizen series has been instrumental in catalysing the smartphone upgrade and with Z4, we will offer yet another compelling product to affordable segment consumers
The phone will be available in two colors namely Black and Gold. The Plastic build with textured back may give the phone a not-so-good look but hey! for that budget and specs, the phone is very well designed.
The design of the phone looks like the initial smartphones lineup of Samsung like Samsung Core, Samsung Galaxy Grand, and Duos. The home button at the bottom and the touch bottoms make the similarity more along with the textured back. Looks like some nostalgia for Samsung users.
Samsung Z4 is an affordable phone without compromising on the specs sheet and this phone may not entertain everyone. This Tizen-based phone will be the best choice for people who are looking to update from their old feature phones. It seems like Samsung is looking to dominate all the tiers of the smartphone market.
