Xiaomi is enjoying its existence in India. After it was known that Xiaomi is the most preferred smartphone brand in India, the Chinese company is accelerating its footprint all over. Catering Indian audience with great performance smartphones at a reasonable price is the specialty of this smartphone maker.

Mi6

The phone is already launched in China in two versions and will soon make its way into the international market as it happened to previous devices.  With a starting price of Yuan 2499 (Rs 24,000) for the 64GB version and a price of Yuan 2899 (Rs 27,000) for the 128GB version and Yuan 2999 (Rs 28,000) for the ceramic version.

Specifications & Features

Don’t be fooled by the price of this device. It packs a lot of power under that beautiful design that makes it a flagship killer. It is the first smartphone after Samsung S8 to feature Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor.

It features a 5.15-inch display with the 1080p display, 600 nits brightness with a fingerprint sensor present inside the display. The next big thing in this device is the dual rear camera. Featuring a 12MP telephoto lens and 12MP wide-angle lens, snapping pictures at high quality will be a breeze. With various photo modes including Portrait mode where focusing people can be made easily giving a depth of field feeling like the iPhone.

A 6GB ram along with the 835 processors will make this phone perform like a beast with multi-tasking and multi-window operation like a cake walk. The 3,350 mAh battery can assure you a long-lasting experience. Other features are still in the shadows but the design of this device looks great and premium.

The high-end ceramic version has 18 Karat golden rims on the dual cameras and a four-sided 3D glass design. Even though the piece looks great in this form, it will be fragile than its other versions. With Xiaomi taking the design one step higher using splash resistant design and stainless steel frame, one can safely say that Xiaomi is eyeing for the top position in the premium class.

The Mi UI is also enhanced by including less

Even though the phone is a mid-range device, it packs a punch. With the design shifting more and more like Apple and S8, it can be safely said that Xiaomi is looking to enter the premium smartphone race.

With an April 28 release date in china and an unknown roll-out in other countries, it may take some time for knowing the full potential of this device. Available in three colors – Blue, Black & White considering the ceramic version too and the 3 variants aforementioned, Xiaomi is offering users a wide range of options to obtain the device they want.

For users who cannot afford a fancy iPhone or a Samsung flagship, Xiaomi can be a fairly better option if and only if it outperforms its competitors like OnePlus and Huawei.

If you are a person looking for an Android phone with a trusted and huge fan base, Xiaomi all the way. Either way, this flagship killer will satisfy your premium smartphone but the budget-friendly dream. Hold on until it will make its way to India.
